Robert E. Purvey (Pur-vee), also known to his colleagues and friends as just “Purvey” was born and raised in Houston, TX. His peculiar public speaking style and uncanny ability to communicate with people from every ethnicity and socio economic background has caused him to be a nationally sought after speaker.

Over the past 20 years Purvey has served in the DFW metroplex as a Youth & Young Adult Pastor, Executive Pastor, community leader, mentor, and character coach. He has received several awards and accolades for his work. In conjunction with his ministry and community work, Purvey hosted an award winning radio show that ran for 10yrs and is currently a host of a podcast on all digital platforms. Purvey currently serves as a Next Gen strategist for Texas Baptists, Assistant Next Gen Director at New Life Fellowship Church in Arlington, Tx and currently serves as Director of Partner Strategies for Tenx10.
